We thus had representatives of: ICAR Foundation, the Association of Angolese Students in Romania, the Centre for Civic Resources in Constanţa, the Association of Women in Romania, the Association for Technology and Internet and the Association Valentina Romania.

The general topic of the meeting was Personal data and private life in the digital era. The workshop facilitator was Mr Bogdan Manolea, representative of the Association for Technology and Internet.

The workshop's objective was to introduce participants to the basic concepts of personal data and private life, processing and collecting such data, the limit between personal and private life, concepts which help raise awareness on the rights and risks we expose ourselves to when we disclose personal data or we do not know how to keep it and when to provide it.

Following this workshop, participants acquired basic notions on personal data, the right to private life and the principles to be observed by any personal data operator when collecting and processing such information.

The workshop was broadcast live through the equipment available at the centre and the online participants were able to interact with the research team in real time. The presentation of the multidisciplinary team was broadcast online by the interactive board and the webcam.
