Mariana Andrei - Communication Coordinator

16 March 2015

The site http://www.migrant-participation.eu/, launched by a network of NGOs in Central and Eastern Europe and Spain, aims to offer an overall picture upon political participation of migrants in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Bulgaria and Romania. The network was created within the project “Fostering political participation and policy involvement of immigrants in 9 Central and Eastern EU countries“, cofinanced by the European Union.

The site promotes the participation of third country nationals in political life, elections, consultative bodies, migrant associations. It publishes the latest news on migrant participation, as well as contributions of European experts on this topic.
