A new network on non-discrimination and gender equality

Mariana Andrei - Communication Coordinator

16 April 2015

The European Commission has awarded the contract for the European network of legal experts in gender equality and non-discrimination to the consortium of Migration Policy Group (MPG), Utrecht University (UU) and Human European Consultancy (HEC).

The new network brings together the European Network of Legal Experts in the Non-Discrimination Field (managed by MPG and HEC) and the European Network of Legal Experts in the Field of Gender Equality (managed by UU). The aim of the Network is to provide the European Commission as well as the public with information on legal and policy developments in the field of non-discrimination and gender equality in the EU Member States, EFTA / EEA and candidate countries, through reports and comparative analyses.

MPG will continue to ensure a high quality standard of the Network members' papers with regards to discrimination and the main grounds of discriminaroy practices: race/ethnic origin, age, disability, religion or belief and sexual orientation.
