Call for articles from Alterstice on the paternal commitment in the context of migration

Carmen Munteanu - Communications Coordinator

8 May 2014

Alterstice magazine - Revue Internationale de la Recherche Interculturelle - will dedicate a special number to the paternal commitment in the context of migration, insufficiently explored so far in the literature.

The scientific committee has chosen for this issue four representative topics for paternal commitment: factors influencing the paternal commitment in the context of migration or in a transnational context; types of paternal commitment; migration routes, acculturation and paternal commitment and the consequences of migrant’s paternal commitment.

The magazine aims through this special edition to fill in existing gaps, particularly in the francophone area, regarding paternal commitment in the context of migration.

Summaries in French of maximum 500 words are expected in a first stage from researchers and practicians who have dealt with this subject. Summaries shall be e-mailed to Professor Jean Ramdé, invited editor for this issue of the magazine, at jean.ramde@fse.ulaval.ca, no later than 24 June 2014.
