The project aims to strengthen the capacity of Romanian NGOs to participate in formulating migration policies.
EMINET project is developed by the Romanian Association for Health Promotion (ARPS) through the Research and Information Center on Immigrant Integration (CDCDI), in a partnership with Advocacy Academy Association in Timișoara and the Centre for Intercultural Research and Communication Association (CCCI) in Iași between 01.01.2016 – 31.12.2017 and benefits from a non-reimbursable funding of 243,515.00 CHF.
The volunteer junior researcher will have the opportunity to contribute with 100 hours of research, between 1.04.2016 – 31.12.2017, to the preparation of two complementary studies on the effects of immigration and migration on the labour market; these studies aim to improve the existing legislative framework, rendering it more attractive for migration and return migration. The research results after the two project years and the knowledge exchange with national and international organisations in the area of influencing migration policies will provide Romanian NGOs with a necessary basis of know-how and good practices for initiating change.
The main responsibilities of the volunteer junior researcher will be:
• Data collection and analysis
• Scientific literature review
• Policy and legislation review
• Best practice collection
• Promoting EMINET project activities
The professional experience and skills acquired by the voluntary participation in the EMINET project will be certified at the end of the project.
Interested candidates are invited to send a letter of intention and a CV to e-mail rprisacariu@cercetareinterculturala.ro, by Wednesday 30 March 2016 12:00 hrs.
The project is co-financed from a Swiss grant through the Swiss Contribution for the extended European Union.
