Winter Holidays Campaign for Asylum Seekers and Refugees in Romania

The General Inspectorate for Immigration (IGI) has launched the campaign "Offer joy! You can be the first to bring the holidays to their hearts!". The campaign aims to collect various presents by voluntary contributions for asylum seekers and refugees in Romania.

IGI therefore asks all interested persons to join the Inspectorate staff in this campaign, contributing either by presents purchased or by toys, school stationary, clothes or any other useful objects for children or adults.

"We welcome you at all IGI offices in Bucharest and the county regional offices", the institution's press release says. The campaign is ongoing until 23 December 2013 and the goods collected will be offered during the winter holidays period.

In Bucharest the donations may be brought at the following locations: 23 Nicolae Iorga St., District 1; 12 Vasile Stolnicul St., District 2, 24A Tudor Gociu St., District 4; 3-5 Eforie St., District 5; 15A Lt. Col. Marinescu C-tin St., District 5. The addresses of regional county offices for the campaign can be found on the official website www.ori.mai.gov.ro, contact section.
