The Committee for Migrant Workers will be held in Geneva

The committee for migrant workers will convene between 9-13 September 2013 at Palais Wilson in Geneva.

The meeting agenda of the 19th session includes reports on the application of the International Convention for the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of Their Families.

The national Human Rights institutions contribute to the meeting with specific information for their countries on the relevant aspects for implementing the Convention. This information will not be published as official UN documents but their aim is to identify key issues and to support the Committee in formulating conclusions and recommendations according to the articles of the Convention.
