Conference on diversity and minority integration at Sapientia University in Cluj

The conference "Patterns of Integration of Old and New Minorities in a Europe of Complex Diversity" will be held between 7 - 9 October 2015 at Sapientia University in Cluj Napoca.

The topics covered will be related to the increasingly complex diversity of European societies, the challenges and good practices which can be identified with respect to the "old" as well as the "new" minorities.

The conference aims to look at the way how social cohesion can be achieved in diverse, multicultural societies. The organizers welcome theoretical analyses and empirical case studies on the way how public policies, society, institutional systems and political culture contribute to the accommodation of diversity. Applications consist of an abstract (250-300 words), a short biography and the academic/ institutional affiliation, to be filled in at the following link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1i1S8RkqJgaRGsnaRgdYjyNaHnGNIS0g-Gj2z8mglo-M/viewform?c=0&w=1. The deadline for applications is 01 July 2015.
