International Conference: Causes and Consequences of Migration and Citizenship Policies

Carmen Munteanu - Communications Coordinator

18 December 2013

WZB Social Science Centre Berlin will organize the international conference on Causes and consequences of migration and citizenship policies between 26-27 June 2014. The role of immigration and naturalization policies is an important research topic for the Centre in Berlin. Between 2008 and 2010, two of the centre researchers – Ruud Koopmans and Marc Helbling, together with their teams, developed two measurement instruments for the impact of immigration and citizenship policies - the Index of the Right to Citizenship for Immigrants and the Comparative Index of Immigration Policies. The two projects will be presented at the conference, with other research papers of colleagues from universities in North America and Europe.

Researchers interested to present their work in this field are invited to send their abstracts for the conference no later than 31 January 2014 to indexconference@wzb.eu. For more information please visit http://www.wzb.eu/en/research/migration-and-diversity?s=26284.
