Bernard Cazeneuve, French Minister of the Interior, signed a decree last month comprising various measures to facilitate the access and promotion of international talents.
The decree is a step towards consolidating the attractiveness of France for mobility in excellence, knowledge and science. Practically this means the simplification of certain administrative procedures for highly qualified staff, for students holding a master's degree and researchers wishing to settle in France.
Passports for these categories of aliens will be issued according to the draft law and will contribute to consolidating the role of France in the international mobility of human capital.
