Terre des Hommes Foundation Is Looking for a Research Analyst in Fighting Children Trafficking

Terre des Hommes Foundation is looking for an expert in researching measures to fight children trafficking. The research looks at the procedures for minors' exiting and re-entering Romania by exploring the practices of notaries public and border police regarding travel documents, in three source counties for human trafficking and one control county. The report will underline the system deficiencies and will propose improvements to the legal framework and its implementation.

The job requirements are: university degree, minimum 3 years experience in research projects, including quantitative research, fluency in Romanian and English. Knowledge on the entry and exit procedures for minors in/from Romania is an advantage. The job involves travelling to Budapest during the contractual period - 10 February - 31 May 2014, the actual working time being 10-15 days.

The researcher shall be responsible for completing the research instruments, for the analysis of site interviews and preparation of the research report.
