ICMPD seeks a project assistant

International Centre for Migration Policy Development receives applications for the position of Project Assistant for the project Integrated Border Management (IBM) in Lebanon. The position is located in Beirut, Lebanon.

The overall objective of the project is to develop the capability of the Lebanese security system to control risk and guarantee respect of the rule of law, thus ensuring security for citizens and the country stability. The specific objective is to provide support to the Lebanese authorities to secure and control the borders in accordance with international IBM standards, thus increasing the security of its citizens, promoting stability, trade and development in the region.

The main task of this position is to support ICMPD in the delivery of assistance to Lebanese authorities, as part of the contribution by the Dutch government. The Project Assistant shall report to the IBM project team leader as well as to the ICMPD Programme Manager and the Project Manager.
The deadline for applications is 19 December 2014.
