The project "TCN Integration with legal Romanian residence through Education and Health" concludes with a conference which will take place at Ramada Majestic Hotel from Bucharest, on 5th of June, 2013, starting with 9.30.

The results of the project will be presented during this event organized by the ICAR Foundation together with Novapolis Association. On this occasion, participants – representatives of the foreign communities’ embassies from Romania, nongovernmental organizations and foreigners’ associations, of the educations facilities, etc. will debate different themes regarding the integration of immigrants in Romania. For that matter, the conference organizers proposed themselves to encourage new ideas, projects’ propositions and public policies in order to put the basis of a series of adapted and qualitative services meant to integrate foreigners in Romania.

The project "TCN Integration with legal Romanian residence through Education and Health" was deployed over a period of 5 months (starting with January 15th, 2013) and financed by the European Fund For Third Party Countries Citizens’ Integration, through the General Program “Solidarity and Migratory Flows Management” of the European Union, managed in Romania by the Ministry of Internal Affaires – Immigrations’ General Inspectorate, as Contracting Authority. Project’s main activities included: identification and selection of 20 children and 40 adults from third party countries, with legal Romanian residence, who beneficiated of support as part of this project; deployment of general instruction sessions in 10 educational institutions with a high number of foreign students; implementation of an extracurricular and non-formal educational activities module for the children of citizens coming from third party countries, with legal Romanian residence and offering medical services to minors and adults from third party countries including consultations, treatment, investigations and deliverance of certain medical documents.
