International programme for researchers provided by BIGSSS-HWK

Bremen International Graduate School of Social Sciences (BIGSSS) and Hanse-Wissenschaftskolleg (HWK) provide an international researcher mobility programme, offering a 6 month research stay at the two academic institutions renowned in social sciences.
The BIGSSS-HWK programme supports research in the field of social sciences (sociology, political sciences, psychology and demography), including a research visit at both institutions. The applicants should participate in the regular activities of HWK and should engage in doctoral education/supervision at BIGSSS, including teaching.
Applications from researchers worldwide are welcomed, both from post-doctoral students and from leading senior researchers. The umbrella theme is “Changing Patterns of Social and Political Integration“, and applicants should have research expertise in one or more of the three thematic fields: Global Governance and Regional Integration; Welfare State, Inequality and Quality of Life; Changing Lives in Changing Socio-Cultural Contexts. BIGSSS-HWK offers the researchers financial support and accommodation, and the international programme will be held between September 2015 - February 2016.
The researchers who intend to apply for this programme should have minimum two years professional experience in post-doctoral positions, including teaching.
