Multiculturalism, Conflict and Belonging in a global conference

The seventh Global Conference on “Multiculturalism, Conflict and Belonging" will be held between 1 - 3 September in Oxford, United Kingdom. The event is organised by Inter-Disciplinary.Net as part of a multidisciplinary project and aims to review the context of major transformations in the world, such as the new forms of migration and massive movements of people all over the world, as well as the impact of globalization upon conflicts.
The conference is part of the research projects within the Inter-Disciplinary.Net programmes. The event’s aim is to bring together people from various fields and interest areas, to share ideas and explore themes related to multiculturalism, conflict and belonging. The subjects to be debated include: integrating the immigrants in the host countries, global migration and local citizenship, immigrants' mobility between nations.
