"Namaste India" Festival in Bucharest at the beginning of June

Mariana Andrei - Communication Coordinator

2 June 2015

This year's edition of the "Namaste India" Festival will be held at the "Dimitrie Gusti" National Village Museum and the National Peasant Museum in Bucharest between 5-7 June.

The event is an initiative of Romanians who share a passion for India, the country of unity in diversity, with its overwhelming variety of cultures, traditions, religions and spoken languages.

The programme activities are diverse, addressing subjects of interest for all audience categories. Romanians interested to find more about the Indian culture can watch documentaries and photo exhibitions during the festival, can admire traditional garments and jewellery and can taste specific Indian spices and specialities.
