Recruitment notice for Campaign Officer

The Romanian Association for Health Promotion (ARPS) hires a part-time campaign officer (2 hours/day), for 7 months (starting 1 July 2015), within the project “Immigrant Discrimination in the Field of Civil Rights – DIM”.

DIM promotes tolerance and contributes to combating immigrants' discrimination in Romania by assessing aliens' discrimination in the area of civil rights and improving anti-discrimination practices. The project develops between 1 March 2015 – 30 April 2016 and includes several sections: research, training and a public anti-discrimination campaign. The campaign will support the other project activities by raising awareness among public authorities, employers, the general public and immigrants with respect to human rights and anti-discrimination.

The main job responsibilities: to prepare the campaign plan and ensure the development of campaign activities; to collaborate with the other team members to select messages and synchronise with the main project results; to collaborate with the editor for choosing the topics of the materials published by the latter within the campaign (newsletter, articles).

Requirements: experience in advertising/ communication/ campaign development; planning and organisation skills; attention to details; result-oriented. Interest in migration and/or previous experience in human rights campaigns are a plus.
