RESTORE Closing Conference, Limerick, March 2015

The international closing conference for the project RESTORE Health of Migrants, funded through the framework project 7 (FP7) will be held in Limerick, Ireland between 26-27 March 2015. The conference will cover topics of interest for migration and health, such as: communication in consultations to migrant patients; Developing culturally-sensitive primary medical care for migrants; European health policies for migrant health; Migrants’ involvement in healthcare research; Innovative research methods etc.

Migrants, academics, professionals and political decision makers at European and international level are invited to participate in the discussions. The conference lecturers include Prof. Alexander Bischoff from Hospitaux Universitaires de Geneve, Dr. Santino Severoni from the International Health Organisation, Prof. Carl May from the University of Southampton, Great Britain, Prof. David Ingleby from the University of Amsterdam.

Abstracts of maximum 350 words, in line with one of the conference topics, are welcomed by Friday 10 October 2014 at the latest, at e-mail restoreconference@ul.ie. For more information please access the link mentioned at the document source.
