"Qualifications and Migration" in Timisoara

This day of 13 November 2013 a seminar shall be held in Timisoara, called "Qualifications and migration", with the participation of 24 inter-cultural mediators, legal residents in Bucharest, Cluj, Constanta, Iasi and Timisoara.
The event, a premiere for this city in Banat region, is organised by the Intercultural Institute in Timisoara and by the Romanian Institute for Adult Education. According to migrant.ro website the seminar shall be held between 15.00 - 18.00 hrs in the Great Hall of Timisoara City Hall.
Two projects will be presented within the event: Migrant in intercultural Romania - creating an adequate intercultural environment for facilitating aliens' integration in Romania and for strengthening social cohesion, by mechanisms for consulting aliens' communities, and Forward - a portfolio of qualifications for the identification, recognition, development and validation of qualifications obtained by migrant women within formal, non-formal and informal learning contexts.
The representatives of authorities, civil society and immigrants will be consulted within the seminar on the problems and potential solutions for the integration of foreign citizens settled in Romania.
