Two junior fellowships for PhD candidates at the Erasmus School of Law, Netherlands

Erasmus Graduate School of Law (EGSL) of the Erasmus University Rotterdam, announces the second Edition of the ESL Junior Fellowship.

The Junior Fellowship enables PhD candidates from universities outside the Netherlands to visit the Erasmus School of Law for 3 months. During this stay, the Junior Fellows will be able to discuss with senior staff members about their research and interact with other PhD candidates in the framework of EGSL activities.

The Junior Fellow is an enlisted (second, third or fourth year) PhD candidate with a master in Law or Criminology at a university outside of the Netherlands. The Junior Fellow is a talented and highly motivated PhD candidate with demonstrated interest in research relating to one of the research programmes of ESL. PhD candidates who can benefit from a scholarship from their home university or from other funding for research visits abroad are not eligible for a Junior Fellowship. (Please note: PhD candidates who have their own funding are welcome to contact a professor/department at ESL directly to inquire about the possibility of visiting).

The timeframe is as follows:
Deadline for applications: 22 June 2016
Selection of candidates: 23 June – 6 July 2016
Announcement of selected Junior Fellows: 7 July 2016
