Vacancy for General Manager at ICMPD

The International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD), with its headquarters in Vienna, is looking for a person for the position of Director General, for a five year mandate, starting 1 January 2016. ICMPD offers a competitive remuneration package commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications.

The organisation is looking for a person with at least 15 years of post-graduate professional experience, of which at least 10 years of direct relevance to ICMPD’s activities with at least 5 years in a senior management function. The ideal candidate should have managed multidisciplinary and international teams and should be familiar with migration institutions and players: decision makers and opinion leaders. In addition they should also have experience in human and financial resources management, communication abilities and public appearances in mass-media in English.
