Immigrant integration
In June, 2013 edition of the Immigrant Integration Barometer (IIB) was launched.
The research aims to capture aspects of the integration of citizens from outside the EU, regarding: employment, health and social care, education, citizenship.
According to the IIB, the Romanians have an open attitude towards foreigners and they support the measures in place to protect them. The study also reveals the fact that their employment status and knowledge of Romanian influence in a positive way the reception of immigrants.
